This piece was created for my character pipeline class in my Game Art and Animation course at AIE.
My first time using ZBrush and XNormal as well as modelling a human figure. It was a lengthy process with a really steep learning curve.
I created the basic figure block-out in Maya and brought it into ZBrush to sculpt into a high poly character with all the details.
I then retopo'd the high poly model in Maya and unwrapped it's UV's
The model was the baked and the texture painted onto the figure in ZBrush with vertex painting.
Materials were set up in Maya with rigging as well, my first time rigging also.
Used basic 3-point lighting for the final shots.
